Seventeen combines elements from the Australian paddock, its abundant sea, and the rich heritage of its vineyards, to create a unique dining concept on the picturesque docks of Walsh Bay.
Our kitchen draws inspiration from traditional family favourites to create new and exciting flavour combinations that compliment each season.
Coupled with an all-Australian wine list, Seventeen will enrich your dining experience with crowdpleasing tastes, a delightful ambience, and friendly service for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
As a St. Hugo’s flagship, Seventeen pays homage to the rich traditions of our country’s famed vineyards with an all-Australian wine list. That is, except for champagne because if it isn’t French, it isn’t champagne!
Our list includes the bold and the beautiful, those known and loved by name, along with a selection of boutique wines that are sure to please the palate.
Additionally, you’ll find a cellar door list filled with a myriad of excellent vintages acclaimed the world over.
“Our favourite memories revolve around sharing a meal made by loving hands. As such, food becomes an expression of life’s joy.”
The team at Seventeen believe in creating a venue where the menu, ambience, and service come together to create a memorable evening shared by friends, families, and loved ones.
Drawing on warm and natural elements — wood, stone, and a colour palette inspired by the sea — our 100-seater creates the perfect setting for an elegant event, catering for up to 50 guests for an indoor formal sit-down, or 70 for a standup cocktail.
Seventeen’s proteins are ethically-sourced from local vendors who adhere to the principles of sustainability. Our fish is line-caught, our eggs are free-range, and our steaks come from pastures that abide by the guidelines of Meat Standards Australia (MSA).
We also believe in supporting Australia’s agricultural backbone by developing strong relationships with local vendors and keeping our produce as seasonal as possible.
As a venue that cares about the environment, we take measures each day to sustain the natural beauty of Australia.
